Hello! I’m Andrew Hedrick, and I’m excited to be back writing another article for Cut or Tap. Last time, I looked at Lugia VStar going into the last couple of events in the Silver Tempest format. Lugia was fairly successful at those tournaments, making up five slots in Top 8 between the two. However, now we are going into a completely open format after a widely-appreciated rotation ended a format (of longer than four months) that had solidly developed in that time. In addition to losing cards like Quick Ball, Evolution Incense, Scoop Up Net, and Inteleon SSH, changes that affect all of the top decks, we have also gained some new cards in the recent Scarlet and Violet expansion. Some of these cards open up completely new archetypes, such as Gardevoir and Miraidon. However, the card that I want to look at today does not make up a deck itself, but instead can be incorporated into different decks: Klefki.
