“The Apex Predator”: Regidrago Vstar

Crikey, Subs – I spotted the apex predator in its natural habitat!

Welcome back to the site for our continued coverage of the 2024 World Championships. This time, we’ll be going over a deck that has practically had no viability above League Challenges prior to NAIC. Regidrago is a Pokemon that has certainly been searching for proper attackers and a well-oiled engine. I think we have finally reached that point where we can start to consider it a decent threat in the Twilight Masquerade meta and for the 2024 World Championship.

Together, we will go over the highest-placing list from NAIC piloted by Jacob Eye, who I believe got their invite thanks to this finish, while discussing what changed for the deck to begin its rise to viability. I’ll include some explanation on the attackers used and why they make the deck slightly more difficult to pilot. Finally, my list and what changes to the deck come with the addition of Shrouded Fable.

Wasting no more time, let’s hop right into Jacob’s list and discuss his 14th place finish.
