“Lost For Words:” My Final Lost Box List for Worlds 2024

Aloha, Subs! Back again for more coverage of the 2024 World Championship in Hawaii.

I’ve been testing this format for seven weeks now, and I feel like I’ve covered all my bases on testing the top contenders. By those, I mean Charizard ex/Dusknoir, Gardevoir ex, Lugia, Lost Zone Box, Regidrago, and finally Raging Bolt. These six decks to me have felt the strongest for a number of reasons, but the first is overall power level. Consistency is the other trait I’ve found for these six decks, out of the twenty-some-odd decks that are currently available for competitive play.

As we’re reaching closer to the big dance, I’ve started to formulate the percentages at which these decks will be played, as well as how the meta develops with the knowledge in strength of the collection. This info can, of course, lead to surprise concepts or Rogue decks. To my knowledge, not too much has made waves in terms of power – our meta’s top decks are just ridiculously strong.

This article will go over my last Lost Box list, and the only one I will be considering for Worlds. We’ll go over why the deck is more fringe than ever, as well as what decks we enjoy playing against in this format. Lastly, we’ll address the Kyreum/Regidrago problem, and some ways to combat it.

First, let’s get into the percentages I predict to happen at the World Championship.
